From Heraklion airport, travel towards Rethymno on the national road (E75) for about 87 kms. Turn off (right) at a large green sign for Rethymno and Spili (97). At the bottom of the road turn left, signposted Spili 27 kms. Follow this road and go through the village of Armeni and keep on this road until you come to the village of Mixorouma. In the middle of the village you will see an EKO petrol station on the right and just past this take the turning on the left for the village of Lampini. Follow this road and go past the sign on the right for the gorge of Ag Antonos.
Keep going and follow the road round to the left signposted to Karines (not Lampini). Go past another sign on the right for the church. Follow the road up the mountain for about 1 km and you will see 3 stone houses on the right. Just past these you will see Villa Lampini on the right hand side of the road. There are 2 villas and Lampini 1 is the second one.
